The final pre-match press conference of the season allowed Lucien Favre to give his traditional run-down on his squad. The Swiss coach announced that the Gym will be without several elements in Lyon.

"We are going to focus on the last match, but we have lots of absentees, that's what is worrying me the most. The list is "pretty long": Plea, Cyprien, Eysseric, Obbadi, Le Bihan, Dante (suspended), Ricardo, Balotelli and Baysse."

Asked about the final two players mentionned, the coach explained: "Baysse had some stomach cramps the day after the match. He didn't train yesterday (Wednesday), and today (Thursday) he hasn't trained either. Mario has a problem behind the thigh, he hasn't trained all week, so there is almost no chance that he will be there on Saturday."
Satisfied by the return of "Le Marchand and Dalbert", Lucien Favre concluded simply: "Of course, there will be a fair few youngsters on the pitch. Bosetti? Yes, he will be there."
