OGC Nice TV

An unprecedented collaboration with Téléfoot for Nice - Rennes!

On Saturday, OGC Nice will bring their pre-season to a close at the Allianz Riviera against Stade Rennais (at 7pm). A final outing behind closed doors that the supporters will be able to watch via the OGC Nice media channels.

This live broadcast is the fruit of an unprecedented collaboration. Although it will be shown on the club’s YouTube channel (as well as Le Gym’s Facebook and Twitter), the production (images, commentary and production), will be dealt with by Téléfoot, the brand new channel, which will go live two days later.

For this encounter with the side that finished in third place in the top flight last season, Le Gym has opened its doors to the new Ligue 1 UberEats broadcaster. The teams at Téléfoot will use the match between Nice and Rennes as a test match, before the league kicks off the following week. “It’s only natural for us to choose this match as our ‘number 0’ live match”, explained Marc Benoist, co-editor in chief of Téléfoot (alongside Johnny Séverin). “In the commentary box, Julien Brun will be assisted by Florent Balmont, somebody that you know well”, added the journalist, whose teams will “be able to test the new cameras as well as their latest innovations. I hope that the fans will enjoy it.”

We are very happy to be able to rely on OGC Nice, a club that is growing at a rate of knots”, delighted Marc Benoist, who also promised: “other surprises this season for the Nice fans.”

We are always on the lookout for ways to further develop our relationship with our broadcasters, commented Virginie Rossetti, OGC Nice’s Communications and Brand Director. They are partners above anything else. It’s therefore with great pleasure that we will welcome them for this fixture.”
