Yesterday afternoon, Le Gym racked up their eighth win of the season by beating Toulouse 1-0 thanks to a goal from Terem Moffi, and two of the Aiglons who were involved in the build-up to that goal – Melvin Bard and Morgan Sanson – feature in L’Équipe’s team of the week for Matchday 13, with both earning a rating of 7/10.

It was in the 54th minute that Bard, as solid as ever on the left wing, nicked the ball from the feet of Mikkel Desler before playing in Sanson following a one-two with Gaëtan Laborde. Le Gym’s tireless no. 11 then delivered a peach of a ball to the Super Eagle, who coolly provided the finishing touch. Incidentally, Sanson has also been included in the sports daily’s XI of this weekend’s best French players from across Europe.
