On Wednesday, OGC Nice welcomed back a familiar face as Hugo Lloris paid a visit to the Training Centre.

Taking advantage of the break in the MLS season between 25 May and 16 July for the World Cup, the former captain of France and today at Los Angeles FC was joined by his father as he returned to the club where his incredible career started.

Close to his Nice roots, Hugo was welcomed by Maurice Cohen, the president who signed him to his first professional contract in 2006 and who is still very close to his father, and was able to visit the centre with the shirt of the Populaire Sud on his shoulders.

The goalkeeper also saw several familiar faces, among them Serge Recordier (who coached him for six months at the youth academy), Virginie Rossetti and Frédéric Gioria. It was a great reunion for the man who played the first three seasons of his career at the club (2005-‘08).

The Club would like to wish Hugo a good end to the season with LAFC and thanks him for this visit, which was appreciated by all those who met him this Wednesday morning.
