Biography

Dan Ndoye

A product of the vaudoise club, the Swiss U-21 international signed his first professional contract in February 2019 with FC Lausanne-Sport. His performances in the Swiss second division convinced OGC Nice, who signed him in January 2020, before loaning him back to his club until the end of the season.
After using his last few months in Lausanne to help the club reach the top flight, the striker really began his Nice adventure in August 2020.
Ndoye was often thrown in at the deep end and was decisive in the final quarter of the calendar year, scoring his first two goals in the Europa League before opening his account in Ligue 1 on 16 December at Nimes (0-2 win).
His performances allowed him to return to the Swiss U-21 squad for each of the international breaks. Then, at the end of the season, he received his first call-up to the senior team alongside his club teammate Jordan Lotomba. Ndoye was then part of the 3 Swiss reserves, and didn't take part in the Euro, where the Nati got out of their group.
On 31 August 2021 and after 3 appearances under Christophe Galtier, the Gym and FC Basel agreed on a loan deal (with an obligation to buy after 5 games), where he was reunited with Andy Pelmard, with whom he played alongside at the Gym.
