ACM, Atal, Todibo…: In the eyes of coach Ursea
After the victory against Nîmes (2-1), Adrian Ursea gave his views on several individuals in the squad.
Alexis Claude-Maurice
"He'd been after that goal for quite a long time. I'm happy for him because it caps off his good displays in recent weeks."

Youcef Atal
"I had the medical opinion, the opinion of the fitness coaches. I knew perfectly where his level stood. Beyond that, I know very well his potential. Everybody knows that Atal can do significant damage when he is one-one-one with any opponent.

The only way we could play against a deep defensive block was to get the ball wide as much as possible. And when you spread the ball wide, you need players who are capable of beating a man and winning attacking duels. We know that Youcef can be redoubtable and the match against Nîmes proved that to us again."
Jean-Clair Todibo
"Our play is based on taking risks. We need to carry on like that. What is certain is that we need to play the ball out from the back cleanly, because we know that what goes on in the final third depends on how you start the move. For me that is especially important.

For a centre-half, as for a goalkeeper, all it needs is one mistake and the opposition are in. Our objective is to get JC to the point where he limits unnecessary risk taking."
The Todibo - Saliba pairing
"Since they have been here, they've been really beneficial to the team in terms of our solidity. It's something you can't materialise but it gives confidence to the team because the ball is played out cleanly from the back, they're solid and master pretty well their defensive one-on-ones, they are big and thy are good in the air despite their young age.

"What you notice, is that all these qualities put together contribute to giving the team confidence, something we were sorely lacking in December and January…"
Walter Benitez
"We know what he is capable of, he's been decisive in the past and we hope that will continue. I hope the team won't give him too much of a chance to show what he can do. That will mean that we have defended well and attacked well.

When he needs to intervene, we know we can count on him. Against Nîmes, he did the job."
