Crédit Agricole Aiglon of the match: You voted for Todibo
Jean-Clair Todibo is your Crédit Agricole Aiglon of the match from Nice – Angers, a 3-0 victory for the Rouge et Noir. The centre back got 41% of the votes ahead of Myziane (27%) and Pierre Lees-Melou (16%).
11 shots, 3 goals scored, 51,4% possession and a constant desire to go forward. After Nice – Angers it would seem logical to have put forward an attacking player’s performance. But it wasn’t the case this Sunday as the most impressive Nice player was in the centre of defence. In just his second game for the Gym after his debut in the derby against Monaco, Jean-Clair Todibo seemed right at home. Dominant and cutthroat at the back he stopped all of Angers’ attacks with his centre back partner William Saliba.

Todibo was just as good with the ball at his feet as he distributed it perfectly and even made a few runs forward. The Barcelona loanee was replaced by Bambu at the end of the game and ended his first week in a Nice shirt in the best way possible. That also made him figure in newspaper L’Equipe’s best 11 for matchday 24 with a 7/10 mark.
Myziane finished in second place in the voting. Starting up front the number seven made himself available and showed the extent of his quality. His performance was capped off by a brilliant goal as he left his defender for dead took a touch and then finishing across goal. He even assisted Amine Gouiri’s goal in a fantastic all-round performance.

Finally Pierre Lees-Melou finished third. Very active in midfield the captain was at the origin of the opener by playing a fantastic diagonal ball into the box and finding the unfortunate Doumbia who scored an own goal. He then provided the assist for Myziane and was involved in the build-up play for Nice’s third goal.
