Go-ahead for the Chinese site

After the English version was launched in October 2016, the Club’s official site is now available in Mandarin.

The development of the club and the performances given on the pitch in recent seasons have raised interest in the Aiglons, well beyond the borders of the country.

In the same way as in England and Italy* notably, news of the Gym was particularly followed in China last season. For example, the video of the Aiglons wishing a happy new year, filmed last January picked up more than 2 million views in one week on Weibo, the most popular social network in China (260 million users)

At the Allianz Riviera, visitors from China became more and more regular during this season. In December, a delegation of journalists coming from the main Chinese media outlets visited the club’s facilities and were able to attend the 3-0 victory over Toulouse.

In February, it was Liu Ye, a huge cinema star, who took to the Nice pitch, ahead of the match against Montpellier (2-1). His 55 million followers were able to proudly admire him in the red and black colours.

Finally, during the spring, 120 Chinese business managers travelled especially to attend one of the best victories of the season, against Paris-SG (3-1)

These operations are designed to open up new doors for OGC Nice, like the partnership struck up with the number one Chinese tour operator (3rd worldwide) Ctrip, the shirt sponsor during the most recent Europa League campaign.

They will now benefit from supplementary exposure thanks to the creation of this new official window in Chinese, which you can discover by clicking on the globe in the top right corner of the page or via the address www.ogcnice.cc.

This will allow Chinese speakers (spoken by a sixth of the world population) to follow daily updates of the team that finished 3rd in the league last season and to take on the values distributed by the club.
