Victory, shivers, satisfaction…
The results of your appraisal of the 2016-17 season on the pitch
As at the end of each season, the official site offers you the opportunity to give your appraisal of the previous season. On the pitch and off it. Here are the first part of the results, with your answers concerning everything that happened on the pitch.
Your favourite victory at home
The success against the champions of France picks up all or nearly all of the votes (73.3%). A capacity crowd, European intensity, two beautiful goals, a trio of Ricardo-Belhanda-Balotelli on fire, a suspenseful second-half after being pegged back by the Parisians and the victory at the end. The two derbies in September against Monaco and Marseille complete the podium.

Your favourite win away from home
The rivalry with the opponent, the Gym’s control away from home, the great strike from Eysseric secured the victory against St Etienne and made it your most memorable memory away from Nice. The situation at Metz with Plea’s hat-trick was also memorable, just as the match at Lille.

Your greatest satisfaction
Football, and more football. The DNA of OGC Nice in 2016-17 has conquered your hearts and made you all proud. The pleasure at the stadium or in front of the TV away from home even beats the final league position to top your feedback. A proof that emotions will always shape the rest. The satisfaction of the home dominance was also underlined.

Your biggest deception/frustration
A season is made up of joyous moments… and less joyous moments. Your biggest frustration? Having “lost” Alassane Plea and Wylan Cyprien in February and March, as the team lined themselves up for the final sprint. A frustrating misfortune, which beats the elimination in the various cups in your votes.

Your greatest moment
In what will soon become four years of existence, the Allianz Riviera has begun to build its own ‘history’. This is happening through legendary evenings. The 30 April 2017 against Paris is one of them, like the qualification against St Etienne one year earlier or the inauguration of the stadium in September 2013. The second place of the award for your greatest moment doesn’t go to a prestigious victory, but rather to a beautiful story, with Mika Le Bihan’s marvellous comeback.
