Invited to vote for your Goal of the Season, scores of Gym fans cast their votes. The jewel from Ricardo Pereira against PSG came top of the list, with 38% of the votes placed. Super Mario's curled effort against Lorient (14%) and Wylan Cyprien's free-kick (11%) at the Parc des Princes completed the podium.

1st, Ricardo, Nice - Paris (3-1), 30 April 2017

Some monstrous work from Younes Belhanda. A one-two with Arnaud Souquet and back into the Moroccan international. The ball is then pushed out to the right...a lightning bolt that melted the ground. The cherry, the cake. Travelling down the right wing, Ricardo heads towards the centre of the pitch, doesn't look at his opponent and strikes into the back of the Kévin Trapp's net, with his left foot. The Allianz revels, Paris were staggered. The break is made, the winning path opens, like in a dream. A dream that is in everyone's memory, when thinking back on the season. 

2nd, Balotelli, Nice - Lorient (2-1), 2 October 2016

The silver medal goes to Mario Balotelli. It's the 2 October, the Aiglons are being held on their own turf by FC Lorient. The minutes are flying by, the scene almost seems to have already been written. The Italian colossal comes out of his box to score, with power and finesse. The lead-up? Plea wins it back, Eysseric and Cyprien in the transition, Mario with the finish. A dummy, the angle opens up and the spider's web is destroyed. The shirt is taken off and the victory assured.

3rd, Cyprien, Paris - Nice (2-2), 11 December 2016

Finally, the sublime free-kick from Wylan Cyprien at the Parc des Princes completes the top three. The 11 December, Nice travel to the capital to battle it out in the 17th game of the season. The number 25 - putting in a masterful performance - triggers the hostilities. 25 metres out, a small run-up, the inside of his foot open: the midfielder finds the perfect angle and provides the masterpiece. The Gym lead 2-0 before being pegged back in what was a delightful encounter, but finished with certain regrets.
