Operation #NICEENROUGEETNOIR

The Niçois filled the city with colour

To show their pride after this historic season, many Nice supporters got involved with the operation #NiceEnRougeEtNoir.

Called to fill the city with the Gym’s colours, the Niçois responded in numbers to the appeal from the club. Bit by bit, balconies, windows and facades of the capital of the Côte d’Azur were transformed into red and black.

As a family, between friends or even at work, people across the generations have taken out their best shirts and scarves to demonstrate their love for the Gym.

The movement didn’t stop growing in size, even beyond the borders of the county. In this way, the Nice expats expressed their joy, from Paris, London or even Toronto.

The operation was largely diffused on social media, and particularly on Facebook where thousands of fans used a specially created filter for the occasion, to decorate their profile photo in red and black.

Journalists also joined in on the action to show their gratitude to the Aiglons, with huge posters also being installed on the facade of the Théâtre National de Nice and the Council buildings, a sign that the Aiglons’ performances left nobody feeling indifferent.
