Jallamion and his "girls", the beautiful story

Out of sight, but definitely not out of mind. Former Aiglon (1982-84), Thierry Jallamion (far right in the photo) always has the Gym at heart. Until recently, a member of the of the Technical Commission of the Côte d’Azur district, the former goalkeeper, left the region a year ago to move to Saintes, in Charente-Maritime.

There, he “fell in love with women’s football “in becoming a coach at the area’s development centre for girls between 13 and 15. Young girls “prepared to listen, incredibly motivated” who play for different clubs and meet up two times a month to make progress. A beautiful adventure only “spoilt” by Jallamion’s dissatisfaction at seeing only Paris, Marseille or even Lyon shirt, a small sacrilege for the man who wore the Red and Black colours for ten years and has kept solid links to the club. Without a second thought, the former OGC Nice man ordered a full Gym kit for each girl and rewarded it to them for their effort.

Extremely moved by this, they too now have a small Aiglon deep down in their hearts and follow closely the results of Dante and his teammates.
