The man at the heart of Lucien Favre's squad, Mika Seri continues to put in high quality performances for the Red and Blacks. Always inspired and often decisive (4 goals and 9 assists this season), the Ivorian international also knows how to be incisive off of the pitch. 

Mika, this weekend you have the chance to confirm your place on the podium with a victory against Nancy. How does that make you feel?

It's already historic to be on 70 points at this stage. What we are doing is exceptional and we are going to try to continue that way. I would even go as far as saying that we are only thinking about that. The team spirit will be the same, the objectives too: put everything in place to come out of the game with a win and to continue to move forward. 

To be playing for Europe at this stage with the Gym, does it remind you of something... 

Last year, we weren't in this position, because we were being chased by St-Etienne (after the 33rd week of the season, the Niçois were 5th and had 50 points). Then we played them (during the 37th week) in a really frantic match, in which we came out on top. That was really moving for everyone, the supporters included. This season, we have continued in the vein. From this point forward, we have 6 matches to go, we need to win all 6. 

Between these two seasons, there is something in common: the strength of the Allianz Riviera.

When you play at home, you have your fans that cheer you on, that unique atmosphere: you have to make the most of it. This season, our strength is that we are picking up a lot of points at home - even more than last season when we lost at home during the season. For the moment, we remain unbeaten, and I hope that we will remain that way until the end of the season because that would be a great thing. At the end of the day, these things aren't down to luck. When we put in the effort and we make sacrifices for our teammates, there is no reason that it shouldn't pay off in the long run.
