Given that the Niçois don’t have another game until the visit of Bordeaux on Sunday 2 April, it is time to vote for your Crédit Agricole Aiglon of the Month for March. Three players are in the running: Wylan Cyprien, Rémi Walter and Jean-Michael Seri.

February’s Aiglon of the Month, Wylan Cyprien, started the following month in the same vein, being named Man of the Match against Dijon, where he secured the three points for his side with an unstoppable strike. But six days later against Caen, the native of Guadeloupe was forced to leave the field prematurely, suffering a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his knee. Now out for the season, the former-Lens midfielder finishes his first season in Red and Black with 8 goals and 3 assists in 29 games in Ligue 1.

The second nominee is Rémi Walter. Starting in Bourgogne and then against Caen, the number 18 left his mark against the Normands. Superb in the break-down, he added fluidity to the Niçois’ game, with 97% pass completion. These convincing stats saw him named Man of the Match for the first time this season. A title he was unfortunately unable to defend in the next game, due to an injury he had picked up during training.

Finally, Jean-Michäel Seri is the last of the nominees. He started in each of the three games this month, and the Ivorian scored against Nantes, with a sumptuous finish - his fourth of the season.
