The international programme
After the last weekend of club competition, the international players flew off in their own directions to join-up with their respective national sides for the March international break. Provisionally selected for the Ivory Coast, Mika Seri was officially liberated by the Ivorian FA, and will therefore not participate in the Elephants’ two friendlies (against Russia and Senegal). After suffering a muscular strain to his right quadriceps during the game against Nantes, which will see him face a month on the sidelines, Mounir Obbadi is currently in Morocco to undergo tests on his injury.
Senior Squad
Younes Belhanda (Morocco)
The playmaker joined up with the Lions to prepare for their two friendlies. Morocco will face Burkina Faso (finalist at the African Cup of Nations) on 24 March and then Tunisia on 28 March. The two games will take place in Marrakech.
Youth
Anastasios Donis (Greece U21)
Scorer of two goals in 2017, Tassos Donis jetted off to meet up with the Greek U21s, a side which he is growing accustomed to. The striker loaned to the Aiglons by Juve will take part in 2 friendlies, in Thessaloniki against Hungary (22 March) and in Wloclawek against Poland (27 March).

Olivier Boscagli and Romain Perraud (France U20)
European Champion last summer, Olivier Boscagli will join up, once again, with the rest of the French national class of ’97 . He will be accompanied by another defender, Romain Perraud, called-up after the withdrawal of Théo Hernandez. On the cards for the youngsters: the 4 Nations tournament, which will take place between 23 and 28 March. On this occasion, they will face Senegal, England and Portugal.
Malang Sarr (France U18)
After 23 appearances in L1 this season, Malang Sarr will feature for the French U18s. An international break that will see the versatile defender face Germany on two occasions (23 and 26 March).
Andy Pelmard (France U17)
A youngster from the academy Andy Pelmard was called-up to the France U17s. The young blues will come up against Austria (23 March), Ukraine (25 March) and then Sweden (28 March) for the preparation for Euro 2017.
Lamine Diaby (France U16)
Finally, Lamine Diaby is the youngest Aiglon to be selected for this international break. The U16 forward will participate in two friendlies against Poland. The first on Tuesday and the second on 23 March.
