Cyprien, the pain

The disturbing images that send shivers down the spine. It creates doubt and worry amongst the Nice camp. In the 56th minute of Nice – Caen, Wylan Cyprien’s knee turned after landing  badly, which saw the 22 year old midfielder’s exit on a stretcher. Whilst no tests can be conducted so soon after, the prognosis is not optimistic. “That, that’s painful, said Lucien Favre during his press conference. I am not a doctor, but it doesn’t look good, it’s his knee. He needs tests, but we know that there is something. We need to be positive because if we feel sorry for ourselves, we can’t go forward.”

An opinion that was shared by captain Paul Baysse. “That is one of the negative parts of the evening. We don’t know exactly what is wrong, we are waiting for the tests. We are disappointed for him, like we were for those who have already been injured.”

On this difficult evening, the Red and Black family’s thoughts are with their number 25. Whilst Caen also send their well wishes via Twitter.
