During his press conference two days ahead of the visit of Caen, Lucien Favre gave a reassuring update on Ricardo Pereira.

Injured since the visit of Metz last January, the full-back is now a step closer to making his comeback as he began  group training this week. “Ricardo came back to training yesterday (Tuesday), it was his first training session with the team”, explained the Swiss coach. Before he was asked the question: “Is there a chance we will see him in the squad against Caen”, he answered: “To be in the squad yes. We will see, we will decide tomorrow.”

The coach did however clarify that for “the others, we need to wait and see”, adding that Tassos Donis “trained” with the squad, whereas Mounir Obbadi, “hasn’t trained all week.”
