Injury
Plea out for the rest of the season
Injured during the fixture between Rennes-Nice, Alassane Plea will be unavailable for the rest of the season.
Having picked up an injury to his right knee at Roazhon Park eight days ago, the 23 year-old forward was forced off to be replaced by Anastasios Donis before the break.
Plea has been through a series of tests over the last few days, including an arthroscopy on Monday in Lyon. The examination went well, but the Gym's top scorer (11 goals in Ligue 1) will not, unfortunately be able to feature on the pitch again this season.
There is no doubt that the exemplary sacrifice and determination of the player will help him to come back even stronger, as he has already shown in the past.
All of our thoughts are with him and the whole club would like to wish him a quick recovery and will be fully behind him as he comes back from this.
