OGC Nice and Southampton FC have agreed a deal which sees Mouez Hassen join the Premier League side on loan (without an option to buy) until the end of the season.

A Gym Academy graduate and member of the epic win of 2012 in the Coupe Gambardella, the young goalkeeper made his debut in Ligue 1 back in the 2013/2014 season at the age of just 18 years old.

The Frejus-born stopper was made number one the following season, but has not made a league appearance for the Red and Blacks since autumn 2015 and his tally of first team appearances stands at 49.

In a search for game time, Mouez Hassen has made the trip to the south of England, where he will link up with two former Nicois: the coach Claude Puel and Jérémy Pied.
