Calèna Tour, here we go!
OGC Nice, through its Endowment Fund, is launching the Calèna Tour this Friday. For 10 days, a van adorned with the operation's colours will travel around the area to collect as many donations as possible, culminating in the match against Reims on Sunday 10 December. Distribution will start shortly afterwards to brighten the Christmases of those in need.
Open since 1 December for players and employees of the club, the major collection organised by OGC Nice through its Endowment Fund will see each day marked by a new step. Associations, local clubs, partners, Mèfi Club's Christmas... the Calèna Tour van will be out and about in the region in the coming days.
The entire Red and Black family will be able to contribute to the good cause. Next Wednesday, Coach Farioli's team training will be open to the public - an opportunity for all supporters to directly drop off their donations at the training ground.
On the same day, the children of the Mèfi Club will celebrate their Christmas and will also participate in the Calèna Tour through creative workshops.
NICE-REIMS THE CULMINATION OF THE COLLECTION PHASE
The match against Stade de Reims (Sunday at 1pm) will mark the culmination of the Calèna Tour's collection phase. The match will be dedicated to charitable efforts. The van will collect donations from supporters directly at the entrance of the stadium. All beneficiaries of the club’s charitable programmes will be invited to attend the match and for some, participate in pre-match activities.
Finally, one euro per ticket sold will be donated to the club's Endowment Fund. The funds collected will then be used to purchase gifts for the Calèna Tour.
HOW CAN I CONTRIBUTE?
By donating items that are either new or in very good condition:
- Toys, games and books (be they for children, teenagers or families)
- Plushies
- Warm clothing
You can also contribute to the online fundraiser. The sum raised from this will be added to the sum raised through #OGCNSDR (€1 for every ticket purchased, plus the profits from the match-worn shirt auctions) and will then be turned into brand-new gifts.

DISTRIBUTION STARTING FROM 12 DECEMBER
After the collection phase, the distribution of all donations collected from all programmes and associations supported by OGC Nice's Endowment Fund will begin. This includes charities such as Enfant sans Douleur and Gym Solidaire, Foyer de L’Enfance, Restos du Coeur, Secours Populaire, Lacassagne, L'Archet and Lenval Hospitals, Nursing Homes, and the Maraudes des Anges de la Baie de Nice...
