Report racism and anti-Semitism!
On the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination on 21 March, and as part of the Week of Education and Action against Racism and Anti-Semitism initiated by the DILCRAH, the Professional Sports Leagues represented by the National Association of Professional Sports Leagues (ANLSP), the Professional Coaches Federation (FEP), the National Federation of Sports Associations and Unions (FNASS), and the Union of Employers of Professional Collective Sports (UNIPROS) have joined forces to combat all forms of racism and antisemitism within their sport. This fight requires action by all (authorities, clubs, athletes, managers, coaches, referees, etc.), together and with a single voice, on all fields.
Throughout the sports seasons, the Professional Sports Leagues work on a daily basis to raise awareness among all their stakeholders and to alert them to any form of discrimination.
As part of its anti-discrimination plan, the Professional Football League, in partnership with the Licra, launched a campaign to promote the platform for reporting racism and anti-Semitism in stadiums on matchday 29 of Ligue 1 Uber Eats and matchday 30 of Ligue 2 BKT.
On social media and on the big screens in the stadiums, a clip to raise awareness among the general public was broadcast to encourage all witnesses or victims of racist or anti-Semitic acts to report them on www.licra.org/lfp. Visuals were also relayed by the League and the clubs with the #Signalez.
On all Ligue 1 Uber Eats and Ligue 2 BKT pitches, players and referees posed before matches around a sign before kick-off with the same message: "Against racism and anti-Semitism, #Signalez". As a partner of the LFP, EA Sports joined the operation by revealing a special shirt specially made for the FIFA 22 video game.
In addition, the LFP and the Licra have designed workshops to raise awareness of racism and anti-Semitism for three target audiences: professional players, management staff (technical staff, coaches, managers, office staff, etc.), and supporters' groups. These modules are available to all voluntary professional clubs and paid for by the LFP.
