J-P. Rivère: "Thank our shareholders for their presence"
As OGC Nice presented their summer signings on Tuesday, Jean-Pierre Rivère praised the involvement of INEOS in the Club.
"I wanted to thank our shareholders, John (Reece), Andy (Currie, co-owners of the INEOS Group) and Jim (Chairman of INEOS), because they have allowed us to continue with our objective of growing this team", outlined Jean-Pierre Rivère as he opened the press conference to present Calvin Stengs, Justin Kluivert, Pablo Rosario and Mario Lemina on Tuesday.
"We have three shareholders from INEOS who joined this project a while ago now and who have always been there at our side, given us the time to evolve and have had the patience to understand that a project takes time", continued the OGC Nice President. "French football is in a delicate position after all of the events from the past year and our shareholders are still there and allow us to recruit in the way that we are doing. When you have a top-quality shareholder, it's reassuring. It's important to feel that they are there alongside us and the least we can do today is to thank them for their presence. For OGC Nice, it's an opportunity that we may appreciate to an even greater extent in the long-term."
