Crédit Agricole Aiglon of the year 2020-21

Second prize goes to… Claude-Maurice

Before unveiling our Crédit Agricole Aiglon of the Year 2020-21, today we celebrate the runner-up: Alexis Claude-Maurice, who received 11% of your votes.

His broken leg brought a premature end to his season, just before the magnificent epilogue in Lyon, and came at a time when Alexis Claude-Maurice was starring in the Rouge et Noir midfield. Used as a No.8 by Adrian Ursea, the intelligent and dedicated France U21 international, overcame his doubts and grew in confidence to make this new position his own in an exceptional second half of the season.

A tireless worker in the middle of the park, very comfortable in possession and always looking for the space that will keep Le Gym moving forward, ACM made 37 appearances in all competitions, scoring five goals and providing five assists, including three against Brest.

► Before his injury, the April and May MVP looked back over his campaign.
