Guingamp 2-5 Nice

Plea, first French four goal haul since 2007

Incredible during the victory at the Roudourou on Sunday (2-5), Alassane Plea is the first French player to score four goals in a Ligue 1 match since Steve Savidan (with Valenciennes at Nantes on 10 February 2007).

The Nice striker, who already scored a hat-trick last season against Metz (2-4 victory), hadn't yet scored four goals in the same game. Only Neymar (Paris SG) has succeeded with a similar performance in the league this season, during the win at Dijon (8-0).

Finally, 2 of the last 5 players to have scored a minimum of 4 goals in a Ligue 1 match are Nice players. And on both occasions at Guingamp (Carlos Eduardo, 5 goals on 26 October 2014 and Alassane Plea, 4 goals on Sunday).
