On Friday, the day before Nice - Lyon (Matchday 16, kick-off on Saturday at 9pm), Adrian Ursea confirmed that Kasper Dolberg won't appear again this calendar year: "In our current position, because it's not just one win that changes everything, we need players to be 100%. It turns out that Kasper is not 100%. I rely heavily on him and the team does too. The idea is to be able to give him the time needed to get back to his best, so that when we return in January,  he can help us as he did at the start of the season."

"I found a lad who is smiling but is worried by all those little pains that he is feeling, continued the coach. At this level, bodies are like F1 cars, very finely tuned. You just need a grain of sand to throw everything out, which can have an impact on confidence. The role of a striker requires incredible effort when it comes to eating up the space. He really needs to feel very comfortable in order to succeed in what he wants to do."

However, Le Gym's coach confirmed that Youcef Atal will return to the squad to face Lyon, adding that the Algerian international has a "chance of starting".
