Still undecided? Here are five good reasons to head to the Allianz Riviera to support the Aiglons on Sunday afternoon for the 3pm kick-off.

1) WHAT IS AT STAKE

Because Nice-Guingamp isn’t just any old game, but rather the clash sees 2nd in the League take on 5th. What’s more, if Lucien Favre’s side are successful, they could head to the Louis II next week top of the table, if Monaco lose at the Parc on Sunday evening. Need we say more?

2) GO WITH YOUR KIDS, THEY GET IN FREE

Because it is a season unlike any other, and in 10 years time, there will be those that were at the stadium for it and those that weren’t. For this reason, the club has multiplied its efforts in the last few weeks to attract children to the Allianz Riviera. For this third consecutive home match, in the trilogy of Sunday 3pm kick-offs, the Niçois under-12 will gain free entry to the stadium. All you need to do is to download the tickets required on the online ticket store and then to turn up to the gates on Sunday.

3) MAKE THE MOST OF THE SNOW

Having transformed the forecourt into a Christmas Village and organised an enormous Galette party, OGC Nice are opening a winter sports resort on Sunday from 12pm. A giant sledging area will be set up next to Garibaldi North for the younger ones, as well as a series of stands alongside. Prizes will be on offer for photos shared, thanks to the partnership with the resorts Nice Côte d’Azur.

4) SEE THE CUP AND WELCOME HOME THE HEROES

Loaned back by the Federation, the real Coupe de France trophy will make the journey from Paris. Like 20 years earlier, it will be lifted high by captain Gioria during a celebration of the achievements in 1997, to be held in the centre circle half an hour before kick-off. The crowd will then have the opportunity to meet with De Neef, Valencony, Fugen, Takac and co. at the Museum of Sport from 5.30pm and will also have the chance to pose for photos alongside the trophy!

 

5) DO A GOOD DEED

 

The club is organising a clothes collection at the game to assist those most in need. In association with ABI06, containers will be made available at the foot of each staircase. Before coming, clear out your wardrobes and come along a do a good deed and help those who need it!
