Transfer window

Youcef Atal joins OGC Nice

On Tuesday, OGC Nice confirmed it’s 3rd signing of the summer transfer window.

An attacking right full-back, equally capable playing higher up the pitch, Youcef Atal came through the ranks of the Jean-Marc Guillou Academy, before starting his professional career at 19 years old with Paradou AC, in the Algerian Second Division.

After 2 seasons and 48 appearances with the Algerian club, which also saw him selected for the national team (4 caps), the 1m76 defender joined KV Courtrai, on loan in summer 2017. After solid performances and being elected man of the match on 5 occasions, the man from Boghni convinced the Belgian club to lift the option to buy linked to his loan.

OGC Nice has come to an agreement with the club from the Jupiler Pro League for the transfer of the highly exciting 22 year old. After passing his medical on Tuesday, he has now become the third Nice signing of the summer, after Danilo Barbosa and Christophe Hérelle.
