Claude-Maurice voted Crédit Agricole Aiglon of the Month for May

Alexis Claude-Maurice is your final Crédit Agricole PCA Aiglon of the Month of the 2020-21 season. Le Gym’s playmaker secured 45% of the vote and finished ahead of Amine Gouiri (18%) and Jean-Clair Todibo (13%).

Already crowned with the award in April, Alexis Claude-Maurice makes it a double. A double which goes to show the role he played in the squad during the second half of the season. A season that was cut short by his fractured fibula during the match against Strasbourg, which denied him from playing in the season finale at Lyon and the opportunity to join up with the France U21s.

Before this tough blow, ACM shone against Brest, a match which clearly carried weight in this election. At home against Les Bretons, he led his side to victory despite being down to ten men, picking up three assists in the way. A masterclass in his final outing of the 2020-21 season.

Behind Claude-Maurice sits Amine Gouiri. Top scorer and the player with the most assists for Les Aiglons this season, the n°11 brought his season to a close with a strong showing against Lyon, the club where he came through the ranks. Inspired, the youngster who is now heading off to play in the quarter-finals of the Euro U21s with Les Bleuets got the assist for William Saliba’s goal, Le Gym’s last of the season. His 8th and final assist of a season which can be added to the 16 goals scored (in all competitions).

Finally Jean-Clair Todibo takes third place. Always inspired, the defender who came through the ranks at Toulouse, and who scored against Brest, has been on the podium for each Aiglon of the Month award sin
