Côte d’Ivoire debut for Kamara

Hassane Kamara has received his first ever call up to the Côte d’Ivoire national team.

The most-used outfield player for OGC Nice in Ligue 1 this season (2,965 minutes), the 27-year-old Hassane Kamara will now discover the joys of international football.

The former Reims full-back scored a wonderful goal last Sunday against Lyon - his third of the season in all competitions - and has been named in Patrice Beaumelle's 25-man squad.

The Elephants host Burkina Faso (5 June in Abidjan) before travelling to Ghana (12 June in Cape Coast) in two friendly matches.

Congratulations Hassane!
