The Gym “Second best club in Europe for youth players” according to the football observatory CIES

In their 333rd weekly letter the football observatory CIES looked at the clubs giving players under 21 a chance.

The study covered 999 clubs in 71 first divisions around the world. It shows the percentage of minutes played by “players who haven’t yet celebrated their 21st birthday at the time of the league games”.

OGC Nice are the French club that gives U21 players the most game time, with 24,3% of game time since the beginning of the season. They are ahead of Monaco (24,1%) and the Stade Rennais (20,7%) in France.

In the top five leagues only one has a higher percentage than the Aiglons: Borussia Dortmund (28,5%).
