After signing for OGC Nice on Monday, Jean-Clair Todibo ‘is qualified and will almost certainly be in the squad’ for the derby between Monaco and Nice, declared Adrian Ursea.

Le Gym coach also spoke about the form of his new player, who has joined on loan from FC Barcelona: “He has been training for two months. He played two competitive matches in January. Last night he had a light training session with one of the assistant coaches and a fitness coach. He is in good shape and he is ready to play tomorrow.”

The coach concluded: “His arrival gives us new options. I can play him in various formations, in a three- or a four-man defence. The fact that he is here gives me lots of options so now it’s up to me to make the right choice. Jean-Clair brings us the quality of his passing game and his height gives us more presence from set pieces. His loan deal is very good and I’m very happy to have him in the squad.”
