Nice youth academy graduate Hicham Mahou will finish the 2020/21 season in the colours of Lausanne-Sport. The 21-year-old has joined the Swiss Super League outfit in a loan deal that does not include a purchase option.

Hicham Mahou, who has made three first-team appearances this season (2 in L1, 1 in the Europa League), will be reunited with his former youth academy teammates Evann Guessand, Pedro Brazaõ, Lucas Da Cunha, Thomas Trazié and Armel Zohouri — all also on loan from Le Gym — on the banks of Lake Geneva.

After arriving at OGC Nice as a six-year-old and coming through the ranks as a forward, he has shone as a full-back and has 11 senior appearances for the club so far. After joining Parisian side Red Star on loan at the start of 2020, the Nice-born defender will now continue his progress with the club currently sixth in the Swiss top flight.
