Aiglon Du Mois Crédit Agricole: Reine-Adélïde with a majority

By a majority, you voted for Jeff Reine-Adélaïde as Aiglon Crédit Agricole PCA for the month of December. With 51% of the vote, the Gym's last scorer of 2020 finished ahead of Amine Gouiri (23%) and Jordan Lotomba (8%).

If individual statistics don't reveal everything about the impact and the influence of a player on the pitch, in the case of Jeff Reine-Adélaïde, his goal and two assists in December do reveal plenty.

Signed from Lyon in the closing moments of the summer transfer window, the midfielder searched for match fitness and on-field sensations during the autumn before becoming a key man in Adrian Ursea's team during the winter. While he took part in 5 of the Gym's first 11 domestic games of the season, "JRA" started 4 of the next 5 matches.

Designated during the festive period as the most technically accomplished Aiglon by his team-mates, the midfielder allied style with effectiveness during the last month in order to get his statistics moving. After an assist at Nîmes (0-2 on December 16), he added another against Lorient, setting up a goal for Lotomba, before managing his first Rouge et Noir goal against the Merlus, found in the penalty box by Boudaoui (2-2, December 23).

Naimed Aiglon of the match against both Nîmes and Lorient, Reine-Adélaïde has for the first time been crowned Aiglon du mois Crédit Agricole PCA (51%).

Another podium for Gouiri, Lotomba 3rd

Behind the France Under-21s captain, there's a player used to being on the podium in Amine Gouiri (23%). During the first part of the season, the forward displayed impressive consistency, scoring in each of his first 5 months of competitive action. A scorer with a header against Lyon, the club where he came through the youth system, on December 19 (1-4), he managed 9 goals in the first part of the season.

Also a scorer in December, Jordan Lotomba earned himself a place on the podium with 8% of the vote. The Swiss full-back played all 5 L1 games for the Gym during a marathon final month of the year, opening his scoring account in France with a beautiful shot against Lorient (2-2, December 23).

Now used in a wing-back role, the former Lausanne player showed his ability to adapt, alternating with success between the left and the right in the Nice system.
