French professional football club OGC Nice announced Belstaff as an official outfitting partner in July. Today sees the launch of the collection and first images of the squad in Belstaff. The British heritage brand, founded in 1924, is synonymous with enduring style and function and has provided a capsule wardrobe to les Aiglons – the team’s nickname, meaning ‘the young eagles’.

The players will wear the capsule collection when off the field, while training staff and Coach Patrick Vieira will wear Belstaff for all major matches and travelling to games.

he capsule has been carefully considered to take into account the style and functionality of the players and team. The off-field capsule includes a range of stylish outerwear including; the Kelland Jacket, a classic café racer in signature 6oz waxed cotton, the Bayling Jacket, a MA-1 style leather bomber, the Team Jacket, a lightweight water repellent taffeta poly worker’s jacket, the V Racer, a timeless café racer in leather and the Circuit, a versatile, lightweight nylon down Gilet. A stretch poplin shirt, Kerrigan crew neck, branded cotton t-shirt, black Fenton jean and Rally sneaker complete the wardrobing offering for the squad.

Coach Patrick Vieira’s three-layer Nylon Rainshield Coat will be available from 2021. The collection was debuted at the OGC NICE vs Paris Saint-Germain match in Nice on Sunday 20th September and the team will continue to wear their Belstaff wardrobe throughout the season. The Belstaff logo is also featured on the new team football kit worn on the field. The campaign features Patrick Vieira, Bonfim Dante, Walter Benitez, Morgan Schneiderlin, Rony Lopes and Kasper Dolberg.
