Atal available for Montpellier match

OGC Nice are back in action in Ligue 1 after the international break when they travel to the Stade de La Mosson to take on Montpellier Hérault SC this Saturday at 17:00 CET. And here is the squad news with the latest Rouge et Noir Medical Update…

In Thursday’s press conference, Patrick Vieira spoke about individual cases: “Danilo and Bambu are not available. Hicham (Boudaoui) has started running again and we are evaluating his progress every day, but it’s still far too early for him to return to full training.

The OGC Nice coach also spoke about his front line, with a question mark over the participation of Amine Gouiri against Montpellier: “Amine was on international duty with the France U21 and played two matches, but he has a back and thigh problem. Rony Lopes hasn’t played much recently ad isn’t yet 100% but the match against Monaco did him a lot of good. Alexis Claude-Maurice is back in training and will be part of the squad for Montpellier.”

Finally, Patrick Vieira confirmed that Youcef Atal was ‘available’. “He trained all week with the team.
