Le Gym's 3-2 win against Rennes on Saturday brought down the curtain on a pre-season that started all the way back on 15 June. Ahead of Lens' arrival for the first Ligue 1 game of the season next Sunday (kick-off 17.00CEST), we take a look back at the squad's summer fine-tuning.

The number of days between the start of pre-season on 15 June when the players returned to the OGC Nice Training Centre and Youth Acadamy, and 15 August when the eighth and final pre-season game against Rennes was held.

The number of pre-season friendlies. Les Aiglons played Lyon (0-1), Saint-Étienne (4-1), Celtic (1-1), Rangers (0-2), Standard Liege (2-1), FC DAC (6-0), RB Salzburg (1-4) and Stade Rennais (3-2).

The number of days Patrick Vieira and his men spent away from Nice. Les Aiglons had two training camps: one in Divonne-les-Bains between 4 and 11 July, the other in Austria 31 July to 8 August. They also went to Lyon for the Trophée Veolia between 15-18 July and to Belgium to play Standard Liege 24-25 July.

The number of goals scored by Kasper Dolberg, the squad's leading pre-season scorer. Behind the Denmark international there is Amine Gouiri (3 goals), Alexis Claude-Maurice, Khephren Thuram, Myziane Maolida (2) and Hassane Kamara (1).

There was also a quartet of pre-season braces: Claude-Maurice, Myziane and Gouiri vs. FC DAC (6-0) and Dolberg against Rennes (3-2).

The number of players used by Patrick Vieira during pre-season. Among them were 11 debutatnts. Aside from new arrivals Hassane Kamara, Robson Bambu, Flavius Daniliuc, Morgan Schneiderlin, Amine Gouiri and Dan Ndoye, Alexis Trouillet, who arrived last winter, made his first-team bow. That was also the case for youngsters Teddy Boulhendi, Théo Pionnier, Salim Ben Seghir and Alexandre Parsemain.

The number of minutes Amine Gouiri, the most-used player in pre-season, spent on the pitch. Le Gym's new striker came in ahead of Hassane Kamara (547) and Pierre Lees-Melou (535). The former Lyon player, who signed on 1 July, featured in every pre-season game.
