Herelle transferred to Brest

OGC Nice and Stade Brestois 29 agreed terms for the transfer of Christophe Herelle on Tuesday.

After two seasons on the Côte d’Azur, the defender heads to Brittany. Promoted to Ligue 1 2019, Olivier Dall’Oglio’s side finished 14th in the top flight last term.

A product of the Sochaux youth academy, and a former Colmar and Créteil player, Herelle joined OGC Nice, and the city where he was born, in the summer of 2018, following an excellent spell at Troyes, which included helping L’ESTAC win promotion to Ligue 1.

In two seasons in Nice, the versatile, combative central defender, who could also play at right-back, played 52 matches, scoring three goals.
At 28 years of age, he is ready for a new shirt and a new challenge.

OGC Nice wishes him every success for the rest of his career.
