Season 2020-21

Le Gym will play in the Europa League!

Following Paris Saint-Germain's 1-0 win over Saint-Etienne in Friday's Coupe de France final, Le Gym now know that — thanks to their fifth-placed finish in Ligue 1 last season — they have a place in the 2020/21 Europa League group stage.

It means that Kasper Dolberg's late goal to give his side a derby win over Monaco on 7 March was even more significant than simply earning Côte d'Azur bragging rights. It means the Niçois are back on the European stage three years after leaving it on a cold Moscow night in the Europa League Round of 32.

For the third time in five seasons, the club will have the opportunity to write another chapter in its continental history. It'll start on 22 October, and the Rouge-et-Noir fans will find out who the team will face when the group stage draw is made 20 days earlier.

Europa, sian aquì !*

*Europe, we're coming!

Flavour of Europe in Liege

Currently in Belgium, the Aiglons had a vested interest in the game between the Parisians and Les Verts. Patrick Vieira and his staff were gathered around the TV while the players were glued to screens in their rooms or even while on the treatment table.

Around 23.10CEST, there were scenes of joy in the Aiglons' hotel, giving the squad a big boost ahead of Saturday's friendly with Standard Liege (kick-off 18.00CEST).
