Amine Gouiri signs for Nice

Olympique Lyonnais and OGC Nice have agreed terms for the transfer of 20-year-old forward Amine Gouiri to the Côte d’Azur.

After bolstering its defensive ranks with the signings of Bambu, Flavius Daniliuc and Hassane Kamara, as well as midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin, Le Gym has registered its first attacking recruit.

A product of the OL youth academy, the young centre forward was handed his Ligue 1 debut at just 17 years of age by Bruno Génésio. A powerful, technical and clinical finisher he made 15 appearances in all competitions for Lyon, with whom he also played ten UEFA Youth League matches, scoring three goals and providing one assist.

Having represented France at every age category from the U16s to the U21s, the man from Bourgoin-Jallieu top scored at UEFA U17 Euro with nine goals (in 2017). More recently, he shone at the FIFA U20 World Cup, scoring three times and laying on one assist in four matches.

OGC Nice is delighted to welcome such a talented young attacker to its ranks and one so committed to its cause.

Welcome Amine!
