First friendlies confirmed

After restarting training on 15 June, Les Aiglons enter their second phase of preseason at the end of next week. Three friendly matches against Ligue 1 opposition have been confirmed.

LYON vs NICE TO START

Patrick Vieira’s side will take on Olympique Lyonnais in their first friendly. The match is to be played on Saturday 4 July at 18:30, at Groupama OL Training Centre. The match is scheduled to be broadcast in France on Canal+ Sport.

Les Rouge et Noir will then travel to Divonne-les-Bains where they will stay in camp until 10 July, when they will measure themselves against AS Saint-Etienne, at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard, behind closed doors. Kick-off at 18:00.

NICE VS RENNES ON 15 AUGUST BEFORE THE NEW SEASON

Other options are currently being studied for the preseason period, up until the start of the 2020-21 Ligue 1 season on the weekend of 23 August.

A week before competition resumes, OGC Nice will have a final test ‘at home’. A friendly match against Stade Rennais at Allianz Riviera, has been confirmed for Saturday 15 August. The conditions of this match are yet to be finalised, especially concerning the evolution of the health crisis.
