INEOS working hand in hand with RC Abidjan

INEOS is now working with RC Abidjan, Le Gym’s partner club, as part of the battle against the spread of coronavirus in the Côte d’Ivoire. An initial distribution of supplies to the local academies and the local population took place last weekend.

On Saturday 18 April, directors, coaches and players at the Ivorian club took part in the first organised distribution of bags of rice and containers of oil. The delivery benefitted the members of the Association des Centres de Formation de Football de Yopougon, the Union des Ecoles de Football d’Abobo (UEFA), the residents of the military camp district and Mossikro (Yopougon) where the training ground of the current leaders of the Ivorian Ligue 1 is based, as well as the families of the players at the clubs.

During the current health pandemic, INEOS is working with the club that has partnered with OGC Nice since 2018, in order to continue its efforts in the fight against Covid-19. This, at the same time as maintaining its free provision of hand sanitiser for French hospitals, as well as providing almost 300 different products for the pharmaceutical industry which are used in medicines, test kits, respirators and protective clothing to combat coronavirus.
