Dolberg, MK III!

After September and November last year, Kasper Dolberg is your Crédit Agricole Aiglon of the Month for February with 43% of the votes.

During this second month of the year, the Denmark striker was most impressive Nice player in front of goal with three goals and two assists.

The former Ajax start began February with a first brace in Rouge et Bleu in the Week 22 2-1 win at home over Olympique Lyonnais. Against Les Gones, Dolberg showed all of his innate scoring instinct. Against Brest, in the Week 26 2-2 draw, also at Allianz Riviera, he showed his a different side to his scoring talent.

From Ounas’ pass, he fired across the goal and inside the far post to score his first Nice goal from outside the box in France. The man from Silkeborg was named Aiglon of the match in both games.

Aside from his goals, the Great Dane also showed off his prowess in finding the last pass. First of all for Herelle vs Toulouse (Wk.25, 0-2) before striking again against Brest, helping on Claude-Maurice’s cross for Ounas to open the scoring.

LEES-MELOU AND BENITEZ IN THE TOP 3

In second place there’s Pierre Lees-Melou (27%), who was your Aiglon of the Month for December and January. The midfielder took his goal tally to five in Ligue 1 in February, opening the scoring in Reims (Wk.23, 1-1) and Toulouse (Wk.25, 0-2).

Walter Benitez completes the Top 3 (13%). The Argentine custodian made several brilliant saves throughout the month, including a penalty save late on away to Toulouse that secured the win at Le Stadium and earned him his own Aiglon of the Match award.
