Auron: Nice in the snow!

The OGC Nice Village set up at the foot of the Auron ski slopes to the delight of the local fans of Le Gym!  Nearly a thousand people had the chance to meet Kasper Dolberg, Dante and former Aiglon Bernard Castellani.

After Valberg, last Wednesday, it was Auron’s turn to be decked out in Rouge et Noir for the visit of the OGC Nice Village, in association with Mutuelles du Soleil.

It’s a great honour, a great source of pride,” explained Colette Fabron, the mayor of Saint-Etienne de Tinée-Auron, who hosted the OGC Nice Village for the second year in a row. “We are very happy that Le Gym has come to see us again, it’s also our football club and we are very attached to the colours. OGC Nice will always be welcome here in Auron.

In the fresh snow, the holiday-makers from Nice and around France enjoyed the activities that are usually reserved for the pre-match fun at the Allianz Riviera. In skis, on snowboards or in boots, the youngest supporters fine-tuned their technique in these wintery conditions!

While Scène Emotion and the Magie & Sourire charity got everyone in the mood, the temperature really climbed when the Aiglons arrived! To the tune of Nissa la Bella, Kasper Dolberg and Dante arrived to sign autographs, take selfies and chat along with former Aiglon Bernard Castellani (1971 to 1981).

Today, in the snow, it’s magnificent, so charming. To see all these kids here, it’s great,” said Jean-Pierre Rivère, who wanted to “thank all the people who work so hard to make this happen.” Certain fans, like 52-year-old Marco, came all the way from Nice for the occasion. “It’s great,” approved the Nice chairman. “It proves just how much people love the club. I hope web ring a lot of joy and smiles to as many people as possible.
