Durmisi out of Angers match

Here is the latest medical update, 48 hours before the first away trip of 2020 (Angers - Nice, Saturday at 20:00).

The travelling party to Angers will not include Riza Durmisi. The Denmark defender is suffering from a thigh strain. “He is injured and out of Saturday’s match,” declared Patrick Vieira in Thursday’s press conference: “We don’t know how long he’ll be out for. It won’t be a long-term absence, but it’s not good news, all the same. It’s another defender on the sidelines, with Andy (Pelmard) and Malang (Sarr) both injured and Racine (Coly) leaving the club and not available and Christophe (Herelle) who only just resumed training last week.”

Concerning the former Troyes stopper, the coach said: “he worked well for the last two weeks with a fitness coach. We’ll see how he feels on Friday regarding this weekend. I will chat with him to see if he can start the game or be on the bench.”

Malang Sarr: ankle

Youcef Atal: knee

Gautier Lloris: calf

Riza Durmisi: thigh
