Dante: "We won't give up"

Interviewed at the end of the game by beIN Sports, Dante called on all of his teammates to "calmly review their own individual performances." The Brazilian recognised Le Gym's current difficulties: "We are struggling at the moment, that's for sure. Struggling to implement our style and to get results."

As always, the Nice captain remained resolutely optimistic: "We saw a team that wanted to battle, at least at the end of the match, we kept on pushing forward to at least try to get the draw. It's not the best period of our season but we won't give up. We know that in order to turn this around, we will need to work very hard, and this starts tomorrow."

He didn't want to use the numerous injures or suspended players as an excuse: "There are important and experienced players missing, but you can't use that as an excuse. It's nice to see youngsters come into the team, like Khephren (Thuram), Myziane or Alexis (Claude-Maurice) playing through the middle who showed that he has lots of talent. There is still plenty of time left this season."
