Form, goal scorers, assists: the stats before the match
OGC Nice and RC Strasbourg Alsace will face each other on Saturday (kick-off at 8pm) during Matchday 11 of Ligue 1. Here are a selection of stats to set the scene for the encounter.
→ RC Strasbourg Alsace have only won four of their last 26 Ligue 1 matches (11 draws and 11 defeats), after winning their four previous encounters.
→ Strasbourg have won their last two home matches in the league, that’s as many as in their previous 12 (six draws and four defeats). RCSA haven’t won three on the trot at home in the top flight since September-October 2018 (3).
→ OGC Nice have lost their last three away matches in L1, after winning their previous two. Only.... Strasbourg (4) are on a longer losing run away from home in the top flight.
→ Les Alsaciens have failed to score in six games in Ligue 1 2019-20. No team has a worse record in the top five European leagues this season (on a par with Dijon and Espanyol).
→ Le Gym have nine different scorers in the league this season: Hérelle, Dante, Cyprien, Ganago, Coly, Tameze, Dolberg, Atal and Burner. No other team in Ligue 1 can beat this (on a par with Angers and Paris).
→ Kenny Lala has been involved in three of the last five goals scored by Strasbourg against Nice in L1 (3 assists). However, he hasn’t notched an assist in his last 16 matches in the league.
→ Kasper Dolberg has been involved in three of the last five Nice goals in Ligue 1 (2 goals and 1 assist). He was involved in three goals in his first five in the league after only making the difference on one occasion in the previous nine (1 goal).
