Youcef Atal, who won the Africa Cup of Nations with the Algerian national side in July, returned to the training ground on Wednesday afternoon.

It’s the photo of the day. On Wednesday, the quick full-back was back with his teammates at the home of the Red and Blacks. 

Before the daily training session, Les Aiglons met in the press conference room for a presentation by Pascal Gariban, Technical Director for Refereeing, to discuss the new laws that have been adopted by IFAB (International Association Football Board).

With 30 appearances under his belt from his first year on the Côte d'Azur (6 goals and 1 assist), Youcef Atal took part in the meeting, but didn’t participate in the training session that followed.

After picking up a shoulder injury during the ACN, the defender will begin his preparation on Thursday, with a programme of individual sessions.
