An agreement has been found between Le Gym and Stade Brestois for the transfer of Romain Perraud.

The 21 year old left-back had come through the ranks with Le Gym’s U19s and Reserve Team, before Lucien Favre gave him his chance with the first team in December 2016 (during the 2-1 victory over Krasnodar in the Europa League).

After four appearances in Red and Black, Perraud joined Paris FC on loan in the summer of 2018. After a full season in the Capital (32 appearances and five goals in L2), the Toulouse-born defender returned to Nice this summer to begin his pre-season under the orders of Patrick Vieira.

But with the youngster looking to discover new horizons, he took the decision to leave the club to take on the challenge in Brittany. With Brest, who have just been promoted to Ligue 1, Perraud will play under the watchful eye of coach, Olivier Dall’Oglio.
