The third week of pre-season is now underway for Les Aiglons. Between the morning and afternoon training sessions, Patrick Burner provided a quick update. 

“It’s nice to return home. In Divonne, it was a bit difficult but we worked well and after two rest days, we are beginning to feel better physically.” Returning to training a little earlier than his teammates, something which the full-backs suggests “helped him”, he is now getting up to speed, in the same way as the rest of the squad. “There is youthfulness, enthusiasm and a desire to work. Now we focus on the week ahead and the match against Standard (kick-off on Sunday at 3pm), which we will attack with lots of ambition.“

An ambition that goes a lot further than the next pre-season friendly. “Honestly, we are already thinking about the league and the first match against Amiens, concluded the number 15. We are working to be ready and we are looking forward to the start!”
