He hasn’t only caught the eye of the Nice supporters. Voted Young Player of the Season for 2018-19 by Le Gym’s faithful in the Crédit Agricole end of season awards, Malang Sarr has now also received international recognition.  

His performances have earned the youngster another nomination, a third consecutive "Golden Boy", the competition for young talent organised by the Italian sports newspaper TuttoSport, with the judging panel made up of 40 overseas journalists. 

The defender appears in the list of 100 players under 21 years of age. Last year the award went to Matthijs De Ligt.
